Into the Unknown

Seeing as how this album was released in 1983, and Bad Religion wasn't very big, they didn't have the money to make a quality sounding album, so after about a week in a studio, they emerged with this 8 song album, which was released only on vinyl at the time. Though some songs, such as the opening track "It's Only Over when it's Over," really don't amount to anything, other songs such as "Chasing the Wild Goose," and the odd 7 minute ballad (if there is such a thing in punk rock) add simple touches to this album. If you are a hardcore punk fan, or a fan of Bad Religion's later albums, like "Suffer" and "No Control," this really isn't the thing for you, but it is definetly reccomended for die hard Bad Religion fans.

added note: for further reference, if this is the first Bad Religion album you buy, they don't always sound like the band Men at Work.
